Caldara is the best known and most used site in Costa Rica. Ten minutes from
Grampa Ninja's, it is a beautiful Castile soaring site. The owner, Jean Claude is an avid paraglider himself and loves to promote the sport. Caldera is at about 100 meters above sea level and it is a really nice and tranquil soaring place which will give you, on a good day, about 300 meters above launch.
