Paragliding Sites in Costa Rica

The closest paragliding site, San Miguel, is 5 minutes up the road from our B&B. On a little better than average day you can land in our back yard. Caldara is the best known and most used site in Costa Rica. Ten minutes from Grampa Ninja's, it is a beautiful coastal soaring site. If Caldara or San Miguel aren't working we head 35 minutes south to Dannymanning. This is a site we pioneered three years ago and is one of our favorite thermal sites. We opened Jaco high launch, a one hour drive, two seasons ago and it has become our most reliable thermaling site. Another great thermaling site and one of the most beautiful is Turrubares. A beautiful one hour drive from home. All of these sites are less then 1:30 minutes from our B&B. Another hour puts you in the Dominical area.
